Our work includes advising on and negotiating highways agreements (including for agreements of works and improvements, adoption/dedication, stopping-up, oversailing and diversions), carrying out legal audits of transport strategies and highways matters in the context of environmental impact assessments, and general advice in relation to all aspect of highways practice. We also regularly act for landowners and authorities in relation to the highways development consent orders and compulsory purchase orders.
Within the team we have a considerable wealth of experience in dealing with niche and complex highways issues to enable us to advise dynamically beyond only the legal considerations drawing upon first-hand knowledge.
