Aline was previously a senior planner at a local planning authority in Surrey before joining Town to re-train as a lawyer. She brings up-to-date experience of plan-making and development management to the team to inform our planning law advice. Aline has recently advised on phasing, decision-making arrangements and engagement with local authorities, implementation, use classes, highways works and nutrient neutrality. She is currently working on a number of applications for judicial review and s288 statutory review and on the promotion of strategic sites across the country, instructed by developers, landowners, interested parties and individuals. As a planner, Aline appeared as an expert witness in an appeal recovered by the Secretary of State.
