Archie studied History at the University of Oxford, before completing a law conversion and joining Bird & Bird as a paralegal. He subsequently obtained an LLM in public, environmental and planning law at UCL, where his research interests included biodiversity net gain and housebuilding policy.

Archie joined Town Legal after completing the Bar Vocational Studies course. As a Bar student, he reached the final of a national planning law moot competition and marshalled in the Administrative Court. He was a recipient of the Inner Temple Exhibition Scholarship. Archie has also represented appellants in the First-Tier Tribunal as a pro bono advocate.
