Charlie trained at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, spending six months in each of the Real Estate Finance, Construction Disputes, Commercial Real Estate, and Planning & Environment teams there. Then joined Town Legal on qualification in April 2022.

Charlie’s practice area is continuing to grow, and in his first year post-qualification he has acted on a broad range of planning matters including enforcement, environmental impact assessment advice, planning appeals, planning and highways agreements, planning application reviews and strategy, due diligence in the context of property, corporate and finance transactions, and applications for certificates of lawfulness.

His practice is nationwide, but primarily London-centric, and he is currently acting for clients on some of the most high-profile City developments that are already in the planning pipeline or already in development.
