Chris worked in local government for eight years before joining Town, most recently for Westminster City Council / Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, with earlier experience at two green belt authorities. Chris has experience of advising on many aspects of planning law, particularly drafting and negotiating planning and highways agreements; planning appeals; judicial reviews; strategic advice; CIL advice; planning committees; and general development management, policy and enforcement issues. He was ranked in joint first place in Planning magazine’s planning law survey 2021, in the local authority planning lawyer category.
