Lisa is an experienced planning lawyer who has advised both private and public sector clients on a broad range of planning matters. She started her career in house at Birmingham City Council and moved into the private sector in 2002. She has provided strategic planning advice, drafted and negotiated complex S106 agreements, and regularly advises on matters affecting development such as highways, footpaths, and village greens. She has in depth experience of all stages of the compulsory purchase process, promoting and objecting to CPOs on behalf of clients as well as dealing with compensation claims in the Upper |Trbunal (Lands Chamber).

Advising on the delivery of their flagship mixed use regeneration scheme known as Sugar House Island, including strategic and detailed planning advice over the life of the development, the promotion of a CPO alongside Newham Council, and dealing with CPO compensation claims including a CAAD appeal in the Upper Tribunal.

Securing planning permission including negotiating the s106 agreement for the 2000 home scheme in Swindon, part of the Eastern Villages allocation.
