Tom began his career in planning as a heritage consultant before qualifying as a solicitor at Town. He has developed experience of a wide range of contentious and non-contentious planning matters including negotiating section 106 agreements and acting in planning appeals. His court work has included judicial review claims as well as land compensation and rating cases in the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).

Tom maintains a keen interest in heritage matters and is a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).
